dragonegg-4.8 software package provides GCC plugin that uses LLVM for optimization and code generation, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dragonegg-4.8
dragonegg-4.8 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dragonegg-4.8 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dragonegg-4.8 *
You will get with dragonegg-4.8 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
